Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - Phase 2 officially started construction in 2016 in hamlet 14 Nghi Phu commune - Vinh city, with a total construction area of nearly 11,000m2 blocks including: Main block includes 8 ground floor, 1 basement and 1 attic. Nutrition, infection control and technical blocks are built at the rear, separate from the main building.
Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - Phase 2 is a key project of Nghe An province, so it receives the close attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments, agencies as well as the city Vinh.
However, during the construction period, due to some objective difficulties such as: epidemics, change of investor, etc., it affected the construction and completion of this hospital. But with the attention and direction of Nghe An province, the efforts of new investors, up to now, the hospital has inaugurated the technical part.
Nghe An General Friendship Hospital – Phase 2
Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - Phase 2 has a total investment of over 1,300 billion VND, designed capacity is 600 inpatient beds, can meet more than 1500 medical examinations/day, function rooms scientifically arranged to meet the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of people inside and outside the province.
After the technical inauguration, the hospital will focus on bidding, procuring equipment and is expected to welcome patients in the fourth quarter of 2023.
